If you don't have automatic updates turned on, you can open the App Store, go to the Purchased tab, and open an app's product page to see if an update is available. Reinstall the app iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Open the Settings app. Tap General, then tap iPhone Storage (or iPad Storage). Question: Q: App opens then closes immediately, but only when in Applications folder I have an app called Cyberduck, a freeware SSH client. I put it in my Applications folder, and opened it, but it bounced a few times on the Dock, then closed.
- Open the Sharing folder in System Preferences under Internet & Wireless, as displayed in the following screen shot: Check the Computer Name field. If it is blank, type a computer name for the machine so that a license can be assigned to it. The session opens successfully from a MacBook using Citrix Receiver for Mac.

At my wits end here.
I uninstalled Avast anti-virus (which quit working a few days ago). After the uninstall my Excel (2003) quit working. When I open it or any excel document, it opens and immediately says it encountered a problem and must close. I'm assuming I accidentially deleted something.
Word and all other programs work fine.
Here's the weird part. I tried the detect & repair multiple times, then actually uninstalled office, rebooted, and then did a fresh install of office. It still has the problem on opening, plus still shows my auto recovered file list (from a previous time when I accidentially rebooted as excel was still open - doh!). So it looks like something stays even after a reinstall. I don't know what else to do to get this thing working again. Any ideas?
